ACTA MEDICINAE SINICA is a comprehensive academic journal in the field of medicine and health. It is sponsored by Guilin Medical University and approved by both the Ministry of Science and Technology and the General Administration of Press and Publication of China. This journal serves medical and health technology workers, as well as teachers and students of medical colleges and universities, and is publicly distributed both domestically and internationally.

Founded in 1988, it was originally known as the Journal of Guilin Medical University.
